The solution creates a separate and distinct form for both the clinical and retail areas. The two areas are both separated and connected by the entry, reception and administrative spaces. This gives the administrative staff maximum control and support for both functions. A circulation loop from reception through the clinic spaces allows shared functions such as testing and records to be located in the center with examination lanes & offices around the outside. The waiting area is adjacent to the retail space for product visibility and clinic traffic must exit through the retail space. The retail/waiting space is located on the southeast corner of the building to satisfy the need for maximum visibility. This separation of function was carried through plan and form with simple geometric shapes.
